PROJECTS

In my capstone User Experience course, we worked with a lead designer at AirBnB to brainstorm how to make their company more sustainable. I wrote interview questions and with those questions, conducted remote and in-person usability testing. Our team did background and competitor research, created user journeys, and used UX brainstorming methods (How Might We's, Crazy 8's, Affinity Mapping, etc.). At the end of the quarter, we finalized our project by creating a working prototype and pitching our idea. Linked below is our Case Study showcasing our final work and process along the way.

I had the privilege of doing an internship working with someone in the Bellingham community as part of my Internet Resource Creation and Management minor. For my internship, I got to work with Western's accessibility experts. Western featured me on their website to share more about my internship, which you can check out here.

I worked on another UX project with a multidisciplinary team where we used cognitive principles to enhance the user experience of a website. I conducted background research, helped create the prototype, and did usabiltiy testing with a few participants.

While my main focus is UX research, I also have experience in psychological research. I have conducted multiple research projects, and have experience in both qualitative and quantitative research. In this document, you'll find the psychological research I've done.

In one of my programming classes, we used Python to create a classifier to identify whether tumors were malignant or benign, and you can print patient records. We did a few other Python projects, and if you would like to see those, I can provide them upon request.

In a graphic design class, I created four poster variations for a poetry event series, each using different amounts of color and exploring unique styles.

One of my posters that shows 4 poets participating in the Seattle Art and Lecture Series, along with where and when info.

In one of my French classes, we had to invent a new product, and advertise it in French. My product idea was an elevator to space, and I created the poster below.

My poster with a black background and yellow stars all around. Product title is 'Ascenseur D'Espace' meaning 'Elevator to Space.'
